It’s the most wonderful time of the year! This is the month when I plan my Fall decor. I love decorating at this time of year. I put out my decor the first day of September, because I want a full three months of autumnal-ness in our home. I just started sourcing new pieces during the past couple weeks to get my decor mojo going. This mood board is just a start.

Beaded Wood Candle Plates // Dried Yarrow Blooms // Moss Sphere // Round Jute Rug // Raffia Pillow Cover // Dough Bowl // Candle Sticks Large & Small // Pumpkin
For the upcoming season, I’m craving natural tones and textures with a pop of warm yellow. This dried yarrow was exactly what I want to put on our fireplace hearth in place of the dried purple flowers I’ve had since Spring. I found them at Joann Fabrics! Joann’s is hit or miss for me, and right now their seasonal decor was inspiring me. I also found the gold candle holders there. How many candles is too many? I have a lot of candles, faux and otherwise, in the house… Speaking of candles, this beaded wood candle plate is on our console table behind the love seat. We have the medium and small.
I recently bought a set of dough bowls and then promptly realize I have no idea how to style them. The rustic dough bowl in my mood board would be perfect for a dining room table. The moss sphere and the gold striped pumpkin are great filler for bowls, so I might try them in my dough bowls.
Are you looking forward to getting out your fall decor?
