Back in the day, I used to have a ‘Makeup Monday’ post every single Monday. I haven’t used that title in a long time, but sharing beauty products on Mondays just feels right. Today, I want to share five skin saviors that have made my skin look and feel so healthy lately. I have a note at the bottom regarding my cruelty free skincare routine and the products I chose to use.

Please forgive this picture of my sample packet, as my full-size has not been delivered yet. I have been using quality skincare for quite a while, so every time I use a new products I don’t tend to see a lot of improvement in my skin. That thought went completely out the window with this peptide treatment. I apply this at night before my normal moisturizer, and I wake up with hydrated and glowing skin. It’s amazing. My skin has always reacted very well to peptides, and I’m happy to add this to my routine!

I worked with Maelove earlier this year, and I am so, so glad they contacted me. I had never heard of this brand before they sent me products to try, and their skincare line has truly changed my skin. This particular cleanser has been my go-to lately. It removes all the makeup and dirt from the day and rinses off really nicely with my favorite cleansing cloth and warm water.

Back in April 2019, I had my first facial ever with Sheila at Bella Trio Salon & Spa in Durham. I had been using an exfoliating toner that was drying out my skin, and Sheila suggested I switch to a hydrating toner. I made the switch and have been so happy. This toner from Caudalie has been a fave of mine, and I see myself repurchasing it again and again. It comes in a pump, which I love because it cuts down on waste.

Caudalie Vinosource SOS Moisturizer
This was a repurchase during the Sephora sale earlier this year. It is a really great moisturizer that I can use day or night. This packs in a lot of moisture, but it sinks in so nicely and isn’t greasy. I can’t recommend this one enough, and it’s also the most purchased skincare product through my referral links!

Supergoop! Bright-Eyed Eye Cream
I love this eye cream. I can’t recommend this enough if you need something brightening. Sadly, I tried the infamous Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream last year and I had a reaction to the active ingredients. I immediately purchased this one, and it’s been very successful.
And that’s it for today’s skincare round up! I love all of these products so much. I truly believe the best antiaging product is moisture, and these all pack in a lot of moisture for my skin.

Note: In case you’re new around here, I follow a cruelty free skincare system. Nearly all of my beauty routine is cruelty free. I mostly support companies that do not sell on mainland China; however, you will see that I use Caudalie products. They are sold on mainland China and they also have an IIVS association in China which was formed to pressure the Chinese government to use alternative testing methods. This is the only reason that I continue to support Caudalie. I have loved their products for years, even before I switched to cruelty free products. I understand that everyone feels differently about this, so I want to explain my reasoning.
