Over the summer, I’ve been trying out a few body scrubs since I haven’t been able to find my favorite KP Dermadoctor scrub at Sephora anymore. In case you don’t know, KP stands for keratosis pelaris, which is a skin condition makes your skin rough. I don’t have KP, but I do have dry skin that is constantly in need of being exfoliated. During the Sephora sale earlier this year, I decided to try the Skin Fix Resurface+ Glycolic Renewing Body Scrub. It quickly became my favorite body scrub.

Since I use fake tan throughout the spring and summer, it’s super important to have smooth, exfoliated skin. If you don’t exfoliate before and during your fake tan, you risk your tan looking splotchy. The Skin Fix scrub combines a topical exfoliator and physical exfoliator into one, which makes my skin feel so insanely smooth.
Even if I were to not fake tan, this is an amazing scrub to help your skin stay smooth. My exfoliation routine is to exfoliate from shoulders to ankles with the Skin Fix Resurface+ Glycolic Renewing Body Scrub. You have to apply it dry and then rinse it off. The easiest (and least messy) way I’ve tried it is to stand right outside the shower while the water’s warming up, apply the exfoliator, and then step inside the shower to rinse it off my skin.
It takes some extra effort to rinse it off the shower walls and floor, but it is 100% worth it. I’ve also used it in the bath tub, where I just stand next to the tub, apply it, and hop in to rinse it off (we have a hand sprayer for the tub).
Have you tried this? I am so happy I found a replacement for my favorite body scrub. This one is really great, and with the current Sephora coupon code (WELCOMEBACK for $15 off $75 or $20 off $100), it’s definitely worthy of being added to your cart!
