Happy Fall! I know yesterday was the first day of Fall, but this cold weather really has me in the spirit of all things Fall. We’re kicking off the first fall fashion content today with a small haul of fall Target dresses. In my opinion, Target has really done fall style right this year. There are so many options to choose from, and this is just a small selection of what I liked.

My goal was to find two or three dresses that I can layer with tops and sweaters. I also needed a few new fall cardigans, because my closet was really lacking in cardigans to layer.

First up is this knee-length boho dress. It has long sleeves with elastic, so you can easily scrunch them up on your arms. I could have worn a medium, but this is a large. It’s very roomy. It has a v-neck neckline, and it wasn’t too low. I paired it with some older boots, but I’ve linked similar ones below. I really loved the colors in this pattern, but the dress was too short for what I like. It was fine until I raised up my arms, so if you don’t fiddle with your hair or chase after kids this is a really great short dress option for Fall.

I wanted a solid mauve or dusty rose dress to mix and match with different color tops and cardigans. This dress is so comfy. The short sleeves make it easy to pair with cardigans, because there’s no bunching in the arms. The waist is elastic, so it gives me some shape without being too fitted. And bottom portion has a lot of room. I am normally a medium on top and an xl on the bottom. This dress is a medium, and it was very comfortable from head to toe.
The top portion on this dress was a little too blousy for me. I love everything about it except the top portion that puffs out a bit. It’s probably easier to see on the haul I did for IGTV. You can check it out here.
The mules are new, and I love them! The footbed is cushioned, they run true to size, and the pattern is beautiful. These are new to Target. Although I got them for Fall, I can see wearing them for Spring as well.

This dress is exactly the same style as the pink one, just in a print. They have a couple other prints and colors, and they’re all beautiful. This felt autumnal to me. I didn’t mention this before, but the fabric is lightweight and the dress is lined. This is great right now before the temperatures drop, but you will definitely want to layer with a top or cardigan later on.
Of course, I decided to keep this dress. It pairs so well with these mustard mules I bought from Target a couple years ago. I’ll try to link some similar mules!

This was the most disappointing dress in my order. I have seen this dress everywhere and finally decided to try it. This color caught my eye, along with the mustard one. The fabric is so nice. It’s a very soft cotton, but it has a gauzey texture to it. I could see this dress being very warm, because there are a few layers of the fabric in the dress. It’s a lot heavier than I thought it would be. This is an wrap dress, not a faux wrap dress.
I purchased this in a medium, and it is way too big! As you can see, it does not fit my size 12 petite frame. I could possible size down, but you can see that the shoulders would be too tight in the size small. It could easily be taken up, but I didn’t love the dress enough to go through that.

You can see I’m all about the boho patterns right now. The colors in this pattern are very pretty. I’ve never tried the Knox Rose line from Target before, but I’m impressed! This is a short-sleeve, v-neck maxi dress. This the medium size. As you can see, I have more than enough room. I wore it this weekend and actually wondered if I should exchange it for a small. The v is a little low, but I didn’t want to sacrifice any of the roomy comfort. I’ll stick with the medium for now and maybe get a small in a different color.
So far, I’ve paired it with black and brown boots. Love the versatility!

I know this isn’t a dress, but I wanted to share a cardigan that I purchased at Target. This is the exact same style as the cream cardigan. They have so many colors, this is going to be a very popular cardigan this season. It’s very comfy and easy to layer. The olive cardigan is a small, and the cream cardigan is a medium. I find both sizes easy to layer, and the sleeves scrunch up very easily. Of course, these mules will be paired with everything this season. I’ll be doing a dedicated post just for them.
