Happy Monday, friends! I woke up to some great news — Old Navy is having a 50% off sale. I polled Instagram stories this weekend because I have two try-ons to share with you. The choices were my thredUP Good Box and an Old Navy Fall Haul. The Old Navy Fall Haul won by a landslide!

In this Old Navy order, I am trying the new High Rise Pixie Ankle Pants. I was a long-time fan of their Pixie pants until the quality went down a little. Since they just released this high-rise version, I was really excited to try it. Honestly, a high rise fits my curvy hips so much better. I also wanted some sweaters that are easy to throw on for work. It’s just so easy to put on a sweater, ankle pants, and cute shoes and be ready to go.

First up, we have the Old Navy High Rise Pixie Pants in black and this Mock Neck Sweater in Maroon Jive. The neck of this sweater is very tight. It basically has zero stretch, so I’ll need to size up. I got my regular medium. I would say size up if you don’t want to struggle getting it over your head. The pants are a little on the small size. Since they are notoriously stretchy and fitted, I went up one size. I also ordered the petite, and I’m really happy with the length and the rise. Of course, I had to pair these pieces with my favorite fall/winter work shoes, the Nisolo Emma D’orsay Oxfords in black.

I went a little different route with this color scheme. I love cognac and navy together for fall. It’s a class color combo. I paired my brand Nisolo Emma D’orsay Oxfords with the navy pixie pants and threw on this luxe tee in warm stripe. I love the Old Navy Luxe fabric. It’s so smooth and soft, and it’s super easy to layer. I do need to size up from my regular size, because the cut of this tee is slim.

When I placed my order I sized up in the khaki color pixie pants, because I wasn’t sure how see-through these are. They’re not see through, but I also didn’t like how tight the hip area is since it’s a light color. I decided to pass on these and not get the size down. I paired it with the same luxe tee in warm stripe and a super comfy denim jacket. This is in my regular size medium. It was a little snug in the shoulders, which would be fine in the fall. However, I wouldn’t be able to layer when it gets cooler. I decided to exchange this for the large.

Forgive me for this terrible pictures, because you really can’t see the black sweater against the black pixie pants. This textured v-neck sweater is so comfy. This is a staple piece, for sure! It was great length, the sleeves are perfect but also scrunchable. I love it.

Y’all, I have to start this off by saying I am so sad these pants didn’t work out. These are the Pixie Chino pants in brown tupelo. I love this color for autumn! Unfortunately, these are mid-rise and gap really bad at the back. These also don’t have any stretch, so if you want them to feel comfy go one size up.

I also ordered some casual pullovers to try out. To be honest, the camo trend feels very 90’s/early 2000’s for me. Back then, camo was green and … green. The colors now are so cute! I love this sweatshirt tunic and decided to keep it. Initially, it looked a little weird at the bottom. Once the wrinkles settled, it looked great. I kept this, and I’ll be wearing it with leggings. I love a comfy clothes day!

Lastly, I have this mock neck sweatshirt tunic. I absolutely love this wine color! It has a split hem and drawstrings at the mock neck. It is so incredibly soft, but the hip are was very snug. This is a great one to order one size up, especially if you’re curvy.
