In case you haven’t heard, the Sephora sale starts tomorrow! I want to condense all my recommendations into one blog post. I have all the dates below for your Beauty Insider level. If you haven’t signed up for Beauty Insider, you can do that here. A couple years ago, I changed the way I shop at Sephora. I only place an order if I (a) need something or (b) there is a sale. The Sephora sale is a great time to stock up on things you use throughout the year or pricier items that you want to try. Without further adieu, here is my what to buy at Sephora roundup!

What to Buy at Sephora
Here are the Sephora sale dates:
Rouge get 20% off and can start stopping on 10/30
VIB get 15% off can start shopping on 11/3
Beauty Insider get 10% off and can start shopping on 11/5
The sale ends for everyone on 11/9
Throughout the sale, I will be updating this post when items get out of stock. Also, I going to divide this post into categories. So, it will be a lot of info! But, I’ve set up all the pictures to be clickable links so you don’t have to go find a link for anything. Just click on the pic, and it’ll take you straight to the site!
Best Skincare at Sephora
I have quite a few favorite skincare brands at Sephora, but as you can see in the skincare boutique above I keep going back to the same brands. Caudalie, L’Occitane, Farmacy, Herbivore, Bite Beauty … they’re all so good and high quality. This is the best time to stock up on your favorite skincare at a discount.
Best Makeup at Sephora
As you can see, I definitely spend more on skincare than makeup. When I’m looking for makeup, there are a few priorities for me. The products have to be light, buildable (for those off days when I want more coverage), and glowy. I would rather look my best without makeup than depend on makeup to feel my best. These are all great additions to anyone’s makeup collection.
Best Body Care at Sephora
Personally, I’m not great at body skin care. I have to try hard to remember to apply lotion. With my skin becoming dryer the older I get, it really should be a higher priority. These products are ones that I actually remember to use and I highly recommend them.
Best Pamper Products at Sephora
I love a good pamper session, even if it’s just a few minutes before bed time. Earlier this year, I purchased a jade facial roller. It feels so good to use at night. It’s cooling and I’ve actually felt relief in my sinuses under my eyes from using it. In the boutique above, I’ve also linked the pink quartz roller and the gua sha. It’s something I’d like to try!
Best Hair Products at Sephora
As you can see, my hair care routine is also super minimal. For shampoo and conditioner, I bounce around between a lot of brands. Living Proof, Monat, Formaulate, etc. You name it, I’ve probably tried it. But for styling, I do stick to my favorites. The Alterna Anti Aging line is amazing for dry or aging hair. Honestly, I think it could make anyone’s hair feeling amazing. Earlier this year, I started using the Ouai Heat Protectant and I’m so glad I did. It actually makes a difference in styling my hair.
Best Men Products at Sephora
As you can see, my husband favors one brand at Sephora. The Jack Black has been really great for him. They have a wide variety of products for men, whether it’s for a beard or for shaving. My husband also uses their skincare. I included some value gifts in this boutique, because it’s a great way to try a small collection of products.
Gifts at Sephora
It’s very clearly the holiday season, so it’s the perfect time to pick up a few gift sets at Sephora. They have so many great options and, honestly, I don’t think they’ve ever been this good. I honestly think Sephora knocked it out of the park this year. So, whether you’re getting a gift or buying yourself a little set to try out, the value sets are a really great way to get value for your money.
Things to Try at Sephora
Last, but certainly not least, I wanted to include a little boutique of products I am trying in the sale. I’ve never used anything from Necessaire, so the body wash and the body serum are in my cart. A couple other things in my cart are the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Oil and the Ilia Serum foundation. The ads for the Ilia foundation really swayed me!
Thanks for checking out my little boutiques for what to buy at Sephora! Will you be shopping the sale?
