Well, friends, it’s about that time of year. It’s time to prepare for Advent. I purchase a few advent calendars every year to mark the time between the beginning of December and Christmas. Today, I’m sharing our 2020 Advent Calendars.

For the past few years, I have been getting myself a tea advent calendar from Bird & Blend Tea company. Each advent calendar comes with 24 individual tea bags, each a different blend. Some of the blends are part of their permanent line, some are Christmas exclusives, and there are a few new blends every year. If you love drinking tea, I highly recommend this one. It’s just a little different than other teas I’ve found in the states. Bird & Blend is based in the UK.
I was sharing my Bird & Blend teas with my husband, so I decided to get him his own tea advent calendar last year. This year, I purchased the same one. He has the David’s Tea advent calendar. We were very impressed with this one, because each day comes with two servings of tea. You get a lot of tea with the David’s tea one! If you want some bang for your buck or you would like to share an advent calendar with your significant other, check out the David’s Tea advent calendar.

For the kids, they each like a chocolate advent calendar. Last year was a bit of a bust, because they didn’t want to eat a piece of chocolate every day. We were left with a bunch of chocolate at the end. This year, I found a Madelaine chocolate advent calendar that has individually wrapped chocolate. I love that they are wrapped, in case the kids don’t want to eat one each day.
For myself, I also have a yarn advent calendar that has a mini skein of yarn for each day leading up to December 25. As a family, we will be lighting a advent candle wreath each Sunday. We also have a family activity advent calendar that I will be sharing next week!
Thanks for checking out our 2020 advent calendars! These are some more affordable Christmas advent calendars:
