I am so excited for this post! Stocking stuffers are so much fun to shop for. I love sharing stocking stuffer ideas. It seems like everyone shops for stocking stuffers differently. Some think of it as a price limit and some people just want something that will physically fit in a stocking. I feel both ways about it. Honestly, I’m not known for being the thriftiest gift giver. So, stocking stuffers, for me at least, are a mixture of affordable and small (regardless of price).
For me, there is something so festive about a full stocking on Christmas morning. Since we limit our kids’ gifts to four (you can read more about that here, I go a little ham on the stockings. But, at the same time, I don’t go overly crazy. I believe the most expensive present in our kids’ stockings this year are about $25. So, it’s not crazy but I also like the presents to be useful. It’s so easy to get a bunch of $5 gifts from the stocking stuffer aisle at Target and call it a day. But, I don’t want a bunch of junk in the house at the end of Christmas. So, that’s the long version of why I don’t put a price limit on our stocking stuffer gifts.
And here is the menagerie of stocking stuffers. These are all products I’ve recommended over the past year that will fit in a stocking!
