When I opened this month’s box, I instantly got so excited to see a soap mold! I have tried soap making in the past, specifically last year when one of our children got a soap making kit through Kiwi Co. It was a lot of fun, and now I’m excited to try adding in essential oils to make different scents for our soap.
This month’s essential oils are orange, oregano, frankincense, and tranquility. For the recipe supplies, you get the soap mold, a soap base, and rose clay. Simply Earth also gives you stickers for all the essential oils and recipes, which makes it super easy to label your products. I am so excited to use the rose clay, because I’ve use it in skincare before and really enjoyed it.
This month’s recipes are Let’s Be Frank, which is a roll on to support calmness. There’s also a depuff ice facial, an unwind diffuser blend, rose quartz soap, an herbal surface cleaner, and a rose sugar scrub soap. If you know me, you probably already know that rose is one of my favorite scents to include in my skincare. I love rose everything. Now, this rose clay is not going to have that lovely rose scent that I like, but rose is also very hydrating.
