Last year could have been ‘the year of skincare’ for me. I focused more on my skincare routine than my makeup routine. I’m slowly adding a few makeup products here and there, but honestly it’s been nice to wear less makeup. I want to share my current favorite summer makeup, in you also are loving lighter makeup this season.
I bought this foundation last year during a Sephora sale. Honestly, the video ads I’ve seen everywhere (i.e., Facebook and Instagram) were very convincing. This is a serum foundation that has skincare benefits in it, along with spf 40. I bought shade Tulum as my everyday color, and I bought Bom Bom for when I wear self tan. The shade range is pretty good. The coverage is very light. It just makes your skin look even and radiant. I really love it.
Speaking of self tan, I have been loving the Ever Vacay Drops. This is a gradual self tan that you can use on your face and body. Basically, you mix 2-6 drops in your moisturizer and you can apply it in the morning or night. It applies so evenly, and I love that it can be used in the morning. Typically, self tanner smells too strong to apply in the morning. This has the same small that the other Ever products do. It’s smells so good.
These moisturizing lip balms from Tarte have beenon constant rotation. I have one in my makeup drawer and one in my purse. These shades are rose and nude, and they are beautiful. They are really great neutrals that go with everything. Tarte does other shades in this lip balm as well, but I haven’t tried them yet.
