The time is here! It’s Fall and I am so excited! Although the weather has not completely cooled down, it has been quite a few weeks since we’ve been in the 90s. And that, my friends, is a sure sign that actual Fall weather is almost here. I want to share some fall transition workwear, because it absolutely that weird time where it’s cold in the morning and warm in the afternoon.

I found this high neck top at Target and though it’s perfect for this time of year! It’s a fall print, it’s a short sleeve, but it’s also a high neck so it’s not too cool. I love this. The sleeves are perfect, because they fit in a cardigan well if it’s cool but they also have more coverage than a summer shirt. I sized up so I could do a little half tuck! Obviously, this would be for a casual Friday.

I wanted to share how this is also great for a business casual day. I paired the same top with my favorite work pants from Old Navy, my go-to mules from Madewell (they have seen better days), and a Target cardigan in case I get chilly.

This is quintessentially fall transition workwear — a sleeveless top, a cardigan, skinny pants, and mules. I love this outfit, and surprisingly I found a similar cardigan at Target. This particular cardigan is from Stitch Fix. It’s been near impossible to find something similar, so I was very surprised to see one at my Target! This Madewell top was thrifted, so there are similar items below.

This is another great fall transition workwear outfit, and it’s base for many, many winter outfits. When it gets colder, I would add a pullover sweater or a cardigan (and a chunky necklace) and switch out my oxfords for flat booties or heeled booties. Love this!
Thank you for checking out my fall transition workwear. This is truly my favorite time of year, and I am just getting so excited for all the sweaters I organized in my closet. Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing my favorite fall outfits from last year!
