Very recently, I switched out the clothes in my closet. I shared my process of organizing my closet here, if you’re interested. Of course, my favorite part of bringing out my fall clothes is stacking my sweaters on a shelf in my closet. Today, I want to share the best fall sweaters. I also have a little shoppable boutique at the bottom of all my favorite sweaters.

Last year, my Jenni Kayne Everyday Sweaters were always in rotation. I purchased two different colors and sizes, and my full review can be found here. I absolutely love the taupe color, and it’s definitely the one I wear most often. Although this could possibly be worn in a business casual outfit, these are my favorite weekend sweaters. I go into the sizing extensively in my review. As a petite curvy person, I’m not exactly the same size or shape as the Jenni Kayne models. I love the style and simplicity, which is ultimately what I admire about the Jenni Kayne brand. In this particular outfit, I paired my taupe sweater with my favorite Abercrombie Curve Love skinny jeans and my Converse Shorelines.

My small, but mighty, collection of Everlane Cashmere Crews are my favorite fall workwear sweaters. They go with everything. I prefer to size up in this sweater. It is more fitted, so if you like an oversized fit definitely consult their size charts. The colors I have are tan, black, and frost donegal. Frost donegal (in the picture above) was discontinued, but I managed to snag it at the clearance price. I’ve linked more of their current colors below.

For the past few years, Universal Thread at Target has done an open front cardigan in tons of colors. It’s always popular, but I think last year’s version has been my favorite. This year’s version has more of a balloon sleeve. It’s still just as a cozy, though! I size down in these sweaters every year, or else it’s just too much fabric for my stature.

Now, this is just a bonus recommendation because I found a similar sweater to this one from Stitch Fix. Target released a striped cardigan that is so cute. And if I didn’t already have it’s long lost twin (they’re not identical, just very similar), I would get one for myself! Alas, I don’t need two of the same-ish cardigan, no matter how cute it is.
Thanks for checking out the best fall sweaters! Let me know what sweaters you’re loving for the new season.
