It’s that time of year again! I get so excited for the Sephora VIB Sale. Each fall and spring, I put together a list of the items I’ve run out of, things I want to try, and things I might want to splurge on. I am going to update this post throughout the sale with in-stock items and all the info you’ll need. You’ll be able to find all my Sephora VIB Sale recommendations right here.

First up, the dates!
The VIB sale will run from November 5 – 15. The sale is broken into timelines based on your VIB level. If you are not familiar with the VIB levels, they are: Insider, VIB, and Rouge. The more you spend per year, the higher your level is. Each level gets you a discounted amount during the sale. The higher your level, the higher your discount. Insider gets 10% off, VIB gets 15% off, and Rouge gets 20% off. Also, the higher your level, the sooner you get to shop the sale.
Here are the start dates for the levels:
Rouge: November 5
VIB: November 9
Insider: November 11
Now, on to my recommendations! For some context, I will share a little bit about how I shop, what I prefer, and my skin type. As a rule, I shop for cruelty free products. That, in itself, is a very deep rabbit to go down. I will say, for the sake of this post, that I shop cruelty free regardless of where a brand sells their products. I aim for 90% of my products to be cruelty free. Also, I prefer green beauty when it’s effective.
My skin type is combination/oily. As I’ve gotten older, my skin has gotten dryer. My skincare routine is not minimal, but it’s also not complicated. The older I get, the less I mess with my skincare routine by trying new products. I like to stick to what I know, and if you’ve seen my VIB sale recommendations in the past, you will have noticed that I consistently recommend the same products over the years.
Generally speaking, the brands I love and stick to are Caudalie, Farmacy, Maelove Skincare (not sold at Sephora), Shiseido, Dr. Jart, Ilia Beauty, and Bite Beauty. Of course, there are other brands I love as well but those are the main ones that I use.
I thought it would be easier to share a shoppable boutique. If you click the picture of the item, it takes you straight to Sephora’s page. Let me know if this works for you (or, if it doesn’t)!
Let’s do skincare first. I am much, much more likely to save all my skincare purchases for the VIB sale, because I love skincare so much and it gets a little pricey. My favorite cleanser is from Farmacy, and my favorite, regular moisturizer is from Caudalie. I swear by this neck cream from Perricone, MD. It’s simply amazing. My favorite cuticle oil pen is from Deborah Lippmann. And these eye masks from Shiseido are life changing (jokes, none of this is actually life changing. but, they are amazing!). If you’ve ever wanted to try Necessaire, do it! Their body serum has changed my skin, and the eucalyptus scent for their body wash is absolutely delightful.
Next up, hair care. I am pretty devoted to my Living Proof and occasionally Olaplex. But, my major splurge every year is the Alterna Caviar shampoo and conditioner. I use their hair CC cream and heat protectant every time I blow dry my hair. They are so good!
Now, my makeup recommendations are, by far, more minimal than my skincare recommendations. I do love makeup and wear it every day (my YouTube channel was entirely dedicated to makeup and beauty products). However, over the years and I prefer more and more the minimal look. It suits me and my life right now. Even so, I have quite a few products that have been in my routine for a very long time. And these are those products! You’ll notice that Tarte is very prevalent, along with Ilia. I love both brands equally.
Last, I want to share some pampering/body care products. I did share some body products in the skincare boutique above, but these are more splurgey and pampery. Aaaand let’s start with something I use regularly. 🙂 I use the L’Occitaine almond shower oil as a shaving oil. It’s amazing! Definitely a splurge but it feels so good on my skin and I love the minimal scent. Ren is a great skincare brand, and this bath oil is wonderful. If you’ve never tried the Herbivore bath products, I highly recommend them! The milk soak is decadent and relaxing.
Thanks for checking out my Sephora VIB sale recommendations! Will you be shopping the sale and what are you looking for?
I’d also love to hear if you like the shoppable boutiques in this post or if you prefer to shop a different way?
