My skin has been feeling the effects of this dry, winter air. Have you been the same? January really took a toll on the skin on my face, hands, legs, etc. It was definitely time for some new moisturizer in my life. I have pictures of a few of my faves, along with some more recommendations. Without further adieu, here are my best winter moisturizers!
FACE WINTER MOISTURIZERS

Caudalie SOS Intense Hydration Moisturizer
I have sung the praises of Caudalie for many years. I jokingly told a friend, if it comes from France, slap it on your face! There’s just something different about French skincare. It works, the majority is cruelty free, and it’s a little everyday luxury that’s relatively affordable. This SOS Intense Hydration Moisturizer is my favorite moisturizer from Caudalie. I reserve it for night time but, in a pinch, have used it for daytime. I absolutely notice when I run out of this (and I try not to!).

L’Occitane Youth Facial Oil
Speaking of another French brand, L’Occitane has been a long time fave of mine. Over the years, I have strictly purchased this brand from Sephora. However, an unexpected surprise of our recent trip to Charleston was stumbling across their store on King St. I purchased quite a few new-to-me products that I’d never noticed on Sephora. This was just one of many purchases. This Youth Facial Oil is so good. My skin looks amazing the next morning. This has been my go-to night oil applied over my moisturizer for the past couple weeks. My skin has a glow to it when I wake up!

Maelove Night Renewer
You all know my love of Maelove. You can read more of my experience with the brand here and here. I have worked with them on collaborations, and I have shared all my thoughts here on a non-paid basis. They have sent me products for free, and I’ve also purchased many products on my own.
Since 2020, I’ve been using their products in both my morning and night skincare routines. This Night Renewer is a must have in my skincare routine. It keeps my skin gently exfoliated, and I 100% credit it to keeping my breakouts at bay. The reason this is in the winter moisturizer round up is that it will absolutely keep your dry skin smooth without irritation.

Maelove Love 31 Precious Face Oil
So, funny story. Actually… it’s not funny at all. The only reason I decided to try the L’Occitane face oil (mentioned above) is because I accidentally spilled my beloved Maleove Love 31 Facial Oil. I have just a very teeny tiny bit left at the bottom of the bottle, and I was gutted. I am including both facial oils here, because they both tie as my #1 favorite. They are both amazing for different reasons. This Maelove Love 31 Precious Face Oil smells so amazing when it’s applied, and it contains 31 botanical extracts and vitamins to support healthy skin. My skin feels happy and moisturized the next morning.

BODY WINTER MOISTURIZERS
I have quite a few body winter moisturizer recommendations, and I’ve put them together in this little shoppable boutique. As you can already tell, I love L’Occitane for anything body care related. I’ve been using their Almond Shower Oil for years. It’s the only product I use to shave my legs. It’s incredibly moisturizing. Recently, I added the shower shake and the foaming bath soak to my routine. I’ve already noticed a difference in my skin. The supple skin oil is absolutely amazing. It makes my skin look so healthy and moisturized!
My other favorites products are from Necessaire. Their body serum is so so good and their body lotion sinks in quickly (something I love in a moisturizer!). In the boutique below, there is a shoppable image to their The Body Ritual set, which is a great way to get introduced to some of their best products.
Thanks for checking out my best winter moisturizers! I hope you found something new to try & love!
