Following along the same lines as yesterday’s post, I was poking around in my Cladwell Capsule app to see what my most worn items from 2022 are. Sadly, the app doesn’t give you metrics like it used to. I used to be able to see the specific items that were worn the most. Now, you can see the item categories of which you own the most. However, if you look at your closet view you can see the number of times you’ve worn your items under each picture.
So, today, I’m breaking down my most worn items in a few categories — shoes, layers, shirts, pants, and dresses!
For shoes, it was no surprise which shoes I wore the most. My top two pairs of shoes are my Birkenstocks Boston mules in taupe and my Gucci Princetown mules in black. That pretty much sums up my style — I’m either a little dressy or completely casual.

I have yet to do a post on my Birkenstock Bostons. In short, they are insanely comfortable and the taupe color goes with everything. I will probably round up my thoughts in an actual blog post at some point. They were in and out of stock for SO LONG, everywhere. I basically got lucky one morning while checking the Birkenstock website.

Now, I have done a complete review of my Gucci Princetown mules. These are worn at least once, if not more, a week to work. I love them. They were absolutely worth the price, to me. I can understand if not everyone feels that way. I have linked the version I have, along with a popular dupe, below.
Next up, dresses! I actually own quite a few dresses, but lately they’ve only been used on Sundays. Looking back on last summer, my most worn dresses are definitely from Target. This cotton dress from Target was in rotation throughout the warmer months. I also have it in white, which is beautiful in summer. Since most of my dresses are summery, it’s difficult to find those styles online right now. I’ve linked a few that caught my eye below.

On to pants! Now, it would be super boring if I came here to say “My most worn pants are black skinny pants from Old Navy.” But, friends, that’s the truth! So, here’s a picture of the same pants, just in a different color. The Old Navy Pixie Pants have been my favorite style for quite a few years. I also love the J. Crew Pixie pants, but it’s increasingly harder to find that style.

The next category is shirts. If there’s one thing I always have a lot of, it’s shirts! I can always find a shirt that I love (pants, not so much). My most worn shirts, by far, was my Universal Thread Chambray button up from Target. They have not brought this style back yet, and it makes me sad! I hope they come out with a new version soon.

Last, but not least, layers! This is my favorite season of all, because I sure do love a layered outfit. Give me a sweater or a cardigan, and I am happy. I honestly have more sweaters and cardigans than are needed for this climate, but that’s okay. My most worn layer was actually a toss up between my black tunic sweater from Amazon and my Everlane Cashmere Crew in black. They are definitely my favorite go-to sweaters when I don’t know what to wear.

Thanks for checking out another walk down memory lane of my most worn items from 2022. I always love taking a peek at what I use in my closet in my Cladwell app. It helps me narrow down what I love and keep my wardrobe from getting too out of hand!
