Now that the hustle and bustle of the holidays and new year are over, I’m excited to look forward to the year ahead! I always love to start off the year with a little recap of the most popular items from the prior year. Numbers and data intrigue me, so it’s very fun for me to see what you all love the most!
I have to say, I was not very surprised at the top ten items. In fact, I wasn’t surprised at the top 2 items!
Starting at the bottom of the list with #10, we have the Everlane Cashmere Crewneck sweater in black. This is a long-time fave of mine. I have this particular sweater in three colors, but I definitely wear the black one the most.

Next up, we have the Universal Thread Tobi mules in leopard. Sadly, these have not come back in stock. These are a work horse shoe for my office wardrobe! They are incredibly comfortable, and I hope they bring them back! I have linked some similar mules below.

For #8, we have the Old Navy High-Waisted Ankle Pixie Pants. These have been a favorite of mine for work for nearly 8 years. When they first came out, the fabric was not great. They were comfortable but the fabric would look worn after about a year. I took a break from them for a bit and then bought a few pairs in 2020. They are still going strong! They must have switched the fabric, because they still look new. Sadly, they go in and out of stick frequently. When you catch them, grab them up! I have also linked a similar J. Crew pair that I love.

Next, we have the Universal Thread Elora mules. These are another pair of well-loved mules from Target that frequently goes out of stock. These are insanely comfortable for the price. These are my go-tos in the spring/summer and they go with everything … dresses, shorts, pants, everything! I’ve linked the two colors they have left, along with some other mules that are faves of mine.

In the #6 spot, it was no surprise that my beloved Madewell Roadtripper jeans made the list. These are probably my favorite pair of Madewell jeans. The sizing for Madwell is literally all over the place. I’m wearing a size 29 here, but I also ordered a 30 and a 31 and those sizes were too small. Go figure! If you’re able, I would order multiple sizes to get the right fit. I hope Madewell works on fixing their sizing issues.

Halfway through the list at #5, it’s another pair of Target shoes! This time, it’s the Universal Thread Vienna mules. Sadly, I no longer have these. I used them so much, the toes were scuffed up pretty bad. If you’re not rough on your shoes, I highly recommend them! True to form, they are also out of stock at target. Add these to the list of shoes I wish Target brought back.

Falling into the top 4 are my favorite white jeans of all time. The Wit & Wisdom Absolution jeans from Nordstrom are SO comfortable! They are honestly one of the very few white pants that work for me. I highly recommend them! Sadly, they are not available off-season, so I’ll make sure to come back here and link them when they are.

Starting the top 3, we have a sweater I recommended as similar to my favorite chestnut brown sweater from Stitch Fix. This is a boatneck sweater from Old Navy that has a beautiful lacy detail across the body. You all loved this one, and it’s sadly out of stock! I am linking more brown sweaters below.

Not surprisingly, the next two items are not only some of my most-worn but also some of the most purchased through my links. At spot #2, we have the ever wonderful Jenni Kayne Everyday Sweater. I did a full review on the sizes and colors I own here. I just love these sweaters so much for the weekend. Most of my sweaters and cardigans are in my work capsule, but these are so cozy for when I have some down time.
Also not surprisingly, they are out of stock most everywhere. I imagine they were bought up for Christmas presents! I will update the links when there are more in stock.

And rounding out the top at #1, my favorite Universal Thread Chambray button up. I have bought this countless times and love it for work and weekend. Bought oversized and pair with leggings, it’s my favorite weekend outfit. In my regular size, it’s wonderful to wear on its own or under a cardigan at the office. Of course, it is also out of stock; however, I am linking similar shirts below.

Thanks for joining me on this walk down memory lane! A lot of these items did not surprise me when I discovered they were in the top 10 purchased list. Most of these are my tried-and-trues, and I hope they are for you as well.
