It’s my favorite time of month — time for my monthly faves and giveaway!!
My favorites this month are a mix of new products and old favorites.
Bellapierre Pink Cheek & Lip Stain
This was in my October Beauty Box 5, and I instantly fell in love with this. Pink is one of my go-to colors, and this shade is perfect. You can use this on your cheeks or lips, but I prefer this on my cheeks. If you’re in a rush, you can apply it with your fingers. I prefer to use a stippling brush, either from E.L.F. or Real Techniques.
Dr. Jart+ Premium BB Cream and Cover Girl TruBlend Foundation
I’ve made it my mission to use up a lot of my foundations. Side note: I have a slight addiction to trying ALL the foundations. I’m purposing to use up my foundation/bb cream samples and full size products before I buy some new ones to try. I randomly tried this combination of Dr. Jart BB Cream and Cover Girl and it looks SO good! The BB Cream makes my skin look very healthy and fresh, and the foundation gives my skin a little more coverage. I’ve been applying this with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush.
I came across this dispensing pump in Target, and snatched up two of them (ahem… hint hint)! Ever since I used up my Kate Somerville toner, I’ve been wanting a toner dispenser that pumps the product at the top. It eliminates product waste, so yay! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve accidentally spilled toner, because I’ve had to tip the bottle to put it on a cotton pad. I have my Clarins toner in it right now.
NYX Butter Lipstick in Little Susie
Ahhh… this lip product is amazing. I really love the Butter Glosses, and this is the lipstick version of those. It’s very smooth and creamy. It doesn’t cling to dry patches, and it doesn’t settle in any lines. It’s practically perfect! This particular color is very pretty, too. They have a few other colors that I want to try.
Maybelline Leather Color Tattoo in Vintage Plum
I’ve loved the Color Tattoos since they first came out a couple years ago. They released a Leather Collection (not sure where the leather inspiration comes from…), and most of them are matte. I really love this color. It’s a purple, taupe-y, grey matte. I’ve been wearing it all over my lid with a powder taupe shadow blended into the crease. It actually looks splotchy when I’m applying it but blending evens it out and it looks gorgeous!
L’Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara
A reader mentioned this a while back, and I decided to try it. I’ve loved the original Voluminous since forever. It was literally the first mascara I used when I started wearing makeup. The Miss Manga is like the Voluminous, but it also lengthens. It’s so pretty!
One, I got my hair cut. And two, I ran out of hair spray. Hence, I bought this. It literally takes me years to go through a bottle of hair spray, so I bought something a little nicer this time. This is officially my favorite hair spray of all time. You can lightly spray it, and it holds your style without looking crunchy. It does kind of fall out throughout the day, but my hair stays in place (magic!). You can also layer it and get more of a strong hold. This is possibly the most versatile hair spray I’ve ever used. …Can hair spray be versatile? That sounds weird.
Oscar Blandi Pronto Texture & Volume Spray
I wanted something to give my hair texture on the days I don’t wash it, so I decided to try this. Also, it was on clearance 50% off. So… I had to. Isn’t that what everyone says about Target clearance? Anyways, this is pretty effective. When I use it, I have that perfect messy look. I can’t not wash my hair after using this, though. This is definitely a second day hair product, and I wash my hair on the next morning.
Now it’s giveaway time!!
