This
year, I will be documenting my monthly clothing budget. I will show
you my budget for each month and what I bought with it. Every month, I
have $60 to spend towards clothing. Some months might be more, because I
use Ebates to shop online and receive a small commission through affiliate links and brand collaborations. During the months that I receive money from Ebates and Skimlinks, that amount will also go towards my clothing budget. This month’s budget was $148.
I bought a casual top from Stitch Fix this month. It was $48.

I did it. I bought the infamous Target/Zara/what-have-you scarf. I think the colors are gorgeous and it’s very soft. This was $23.46.

I had a little credit on thredUP burning a whole in my proverbial pocket. I stalk Gap pants on thredUP like … I don’t know what. I wanted some straight or boot cut pants for work this winter, so I snatched these up fast. They were $13.92.

My Target flats finally bit the dust. The sole was coming away from the shoe, and for some reason they were starting to hurt my feet. I took a chance on these Lucky Emmie flats in bourbon. They are so comfortable. I’d seen them for about $60 most places online, but I found them on Amazon for $44 (plus a little tax). Um, yes. These quickly became my I-don’t-care-if-they-don’t-go-with-everything-wear-them-with-everything shoes. They actually have some water stains right now, because I walked through a wet soccer field. I need to sit down and work out the stains.
Budget $148.00
Total 132.57
Balance 15.43
I’m pretty happy with my purchases from this month. I have worn the shoes and shirt a ton, but I haven’t worn the scarf or pants yet. I’ll probably bust those out this week, since it’s supposed to be cold!
