It’s time for my monthly beauty favorites! If I’ve included something that was sent to me, I have notated that below. All other products were purchased by me. All opinions are 100% my own.
This month, I went back to some old favorite and also tried some new things! I am so happy to be doing a monthly favorites, after not having time to do them in November and December. Make sure to tell me what you’ve been loving this month!
Top Shop Eyeshadow Palette in Orion
These eyeshadows are so gorgeous. I love the shimmery quality, and they have amazing staying power. Eyeshadows usually crease on me, but I can wear them without a primer (and that’s really something!!). The formula is so creamy and smooth, and it’s so easy to blend them.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light
This powder has popped in my favorites before. This is a very finely milled, skin-tone-correcting powder. Each of the ambient lighting powders does something different, and this one tones down redness in your skin. It’s not the absolutely perfect setting powder, but it does improve my skin tone.
Neutrogena Nourshing Longwear Foundation
I was provided this for a collaboration with Neutrogena and Target, here. I am a huge fan of long wear foundations. I have slightly oily skin and most foundations break down easily on my skin throughout the day. This one looks so fresh all day and, most importantly, at the end of the work day.
Ultraflesh The Gold Standard Mascara
I received this in my Beauty Box 5, which is sent to me every month for review. So, this mascara has a weird name. Weird name, AMAZING mascara. It has one of those spiky, rubbery wands that I love. I’ve found that those types of wands are really great at defining and lengthening your lashes. It doesn’t really volumize, but it’s so dark that my lashes do look thicker. Love it!
Julep Luxe Lip in Pale Pink
When I got this in a recent Julep box, I instantly thought I should’ve requested a different color. Not true! After I used this for a while, it was refreshing to use such a pale, natural color. You don’t have to worry about it smuding, and it just makes your lips look good. The tip of the applicator is metal, so it’s also cool and refreshing while you apply it.
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey
Yes, this is another repeat favorite. Every few months, I go back to using this all the time. It’s the perfect every day color. It looks good with everything, and stains your lips!
Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip & Cheek Creamy Oil
This is a new product that I tried this month. I want to get more into Josie Maran products. Every item I’ve tried from that brand has been really nice. They don’t disappoint at all! These lip and cheek oils are so nice. I have only been using them on my cheeks. It’s very similar to a cream cheek blush, but it’s a little oilier. It soaks into the skin and gives your cheeks the perfect bit of flush.
Maybelline Color Tattoo Leather in Barely Beige
Aaaand, another old favorite. 🙂 I’ve loved the color tattoos since they came out a few years ago. This color is from their leather collection that came out last year. The name doesn’t describe the color well, as it’s a bit more tan than beige. It looks gorgeous under the Topshop eyeshadows.
Jaqua Rose Bouquet Hydrating Facial Mist
I received this in my Beauty Box 5, which is sent to me every month for review. I am such a fan of rosewater toners, and this is the best one I’ve tried so far! If you have dry skin and you love the scent of roses, you will love this! I love spritzing this over my skin before I apply my serum and moisturizer at night.
Amopé Pedi Perfect Moisturizer
I received this for a collaboration with Amopé and Target, here. This is, hands down, one of my favorite foot moisturizers. My feet, along with the rest of my skin, are so dry. I’ve had a hard time finding moisturizers that last for an entire day. This one keeps my skin hydrated all day and night!
Sephora Brush Wand (sold out online)
I don’t always have beauty tools to include in my favorites, but I found the coolest brush at Sephora! I apologize for the product photo, but I completely forgot to include it in my pictures. This is a travel-friendly eye brush set. It has four brushes, each magnetized to fit inside each other. It’s basically one long eyeshadow wand! You can rearrange them to have the brush you want on the end, or you can separate them. I think this is perfect for traveling, because the magnets ensure your brushes will stay clean.
This month I am giving away:
1 Josie Maran Lip & Cheek Creamy Oil set
1 Sephora Eye Brush Wand
