I am a self-proclaimed lover of all things winter. But, I get so excited about when the weather warms up. Spring is all about lighter colors and freshening up our wardrobes. When I start shopping for the kids’ clothes, my first order of business is to purchase Easter outfits.
We went to OshKosh B’Gosh to shop, and I found an outfit for each of the kids (and then some…). They were also have an extra sale on the off-season items, so I bought some things to put away for next winter. The kids were so excited to pick out their Easter outfits. Our daughter went straight from the dresses to the shoes, exclaiming “I know how to look for shoes, Mommy!” What can I say … like mother, like daughter. 😉
You already saw my Easter outfit last week. I like all of our outfits to coordinate in some way. I purchased my dress first, so I had those colors in mind when we went to the OshKosh store. But, when I walked in and saw all the orange, white, and blue, I couldn’t resist that color combination for the kids. It was hard to choose from all the pretty spring colors!
We are (obviously) not fussy about our clothes. I like the kids’ outfits to be affordable and comfortable so they can run around outside after church. And, bonus, these outfits will be perfect after Easter. The boys can wear the shorts to school, and we can remix the button-up tops by layering a graphic tee underneath. Hello, school picture day!
Izzie’s dress will be saved for church, but her shoes are so cute and go with everything. I’ve put them with all of her other spring outfits, and I love the way they look. They will take us all the way through summer as well.
